Yes, I have heard of it, and have taken it as well. My neuologist gave me a combination of:
500 mg non-flush Niacin
400 mg Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)
800 mg Magnesium
I take it every day...they seem to be a bit better, but not a significant change. I would say just try it, it may work better for you than for me.

Yes I too have heard that 400mg of B2 daily if taken for 3 months steady will eventually prevent migraines. Of course I will try almost anything so did start taking that in addition to the magnesium. The only real thing that works for me is sumatriptan but I sure hate to take those on a daily basis so I try everything else first.
