Frequently Asked Questions - Questions about Sign Up (or Subscription)
Membership on Mediclim.com costs USD $20/year.
The USD $20 fee entitles members to subscribe to the Mediclim service for 1 year and receive unlimited Mediclim health alerts (typically 5 alerts per month) for 1 year. Subscribers also have unlimited access to the Mediclim Message Boards (Forum), the Mediclim Blog and online subscriber e-mail support.
Renewals / Expiry: Members will receive a renewal notice 1 month prior to their membership expiring. When your account expires, you will receive an expiration notice. On expiry you are automatically unsubscribed from Health Alerts, Message Boards (Forum), and Blog. After expiry, you can still renew at any time. Login with your old username and password, and you will be redirected to membership checkout. Complete payment to reactivate your account and subscription services with us.
Refunds: If you are unsatisfied with our service, or decide to change your mind, a full refund is available up to 30 days from purchase. Refunds are available upon request via refunds@mediclim.com. Subscribers requesting a refund should provide their Mediclim account email address, username, and postal address.

Some persons want to stop receiving the Health Alerts e-mails and want to know how to stop them. You control what e-mails you are sent by selecting the ailments on the “Health Information” section of the “Manage my Account” web page. If you do not select any ailment, then you will no longer receive any e-mails (but still have access to the website). Login to MediClim.com, go to “Manage my Account”, click on “Health Information”, un-check all the ailments and Submit.
Membership to MediClim.com gives you access to the MediClim community via the website. This includes participating in discussion forums provided for subscribers like you who have interests in weather and health issues, and to see how the weather has influenced health in your community.
If you live in selected countries, subscribing also provides access to our Health Alerts e-mail service where MediClim.com will e-mail you a 1-day notice of days where certain ailments can be aggravated by the weather. You select the ailments for which you want to receive e-mails - the decision is yours. You can select the ailments initially during registration, or if you prefer, you can do so at a later time by logging in to MediClim.com, going to “Manage my Account”, and clicking on “Health Information”
Subscription is simple. Click on the Sign-up button and follow the instructions. You will be asked to complete a user account, and complete payment for membership (USD $20/year). We do not ask you for your name or personal health information. Your postal code / zip is required in order for you to receive Health Alerts for any ailments you subscribe to.
Once you have completely filled out the forms and completed your membership payment, you should get a response in your email account from us within a few minutes. If you have not received confirmation by email, please check:
i) First, please always check your e-mail – your account may still have been set up and the e-mail delivered, but you were never presented with our response because of a problem with Internet communications.
ii) Second, please check your junk / bulk / spam email for a message from mediclim@mediclim.com. Add this address to your allowed contacts so you can continue to receive emails from us.
iii) If you do not have any e-mail message, then please try completing the form a second time – regrettably, it seems your sign-up attempt may not have been properly completed.

If you cannot access any page on the site without being redirected to the membership payment page, then the Sign Up process was never fully completed (payment was not completed), or your membership has expired.
To renew your membership with us, login and complete the steps for membership payment, and your account will be (re)activated.
